Acupuncture for IBS, diarrhea and constipation

Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) are abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, irregular bowel movements and dhiarrhea or loose stools and constipation or both. Feeling drained and tired is common.

It often gets worse with anger, frustration, resentment and worry. Stress is a major underlying factor. This causes the Liver Qi to rebel and rise upwards, resulting in bloating, nausea and stagnation in the digestive system.

Acupuncture regulates the flow in the body and calms down the rebellious QI. It strengthens the Spleen and soothes the Liver QI, two major players in IBS.
