What is shiatsu?

Shiatsu originated in Japan and has roots in Chinese Medicine. It enhances the body’s innate healing power through stimulating various pressure points and stretching. It releases blocked energy and regulates the automatic nervous system. Back and neck pain, joint problems and aches and pains are effectively addressed by shiatsu. During shiatsu treatment you remain fully clothed. It is best to wear comfortable, breathable clothing that does not restrict movement.
